Listen beyond your ears

One of my favorite hobbies is people watching.

So much is seen on a persons face.

Disappointment, disgust, happiness, joy and love.

Our bodies speak a thousand words before our lips could utter one.

It's the unspoken truth

We try and hide behind our smiles

afraid that someone won't believe our words

yet our bodies have said it all already.

And it is but a few who listens beyond what the ear can hear.

They listen to your movement, your breathing, your heartbeat.

And even though we might succeed in fooling those around us with the fake conversations, fake laughs and fake smiles, but to those that sit in silence and watch, they have already read the unspoken and un shown message your lips are to afraid to utter.

It might take a split second for someone to get there composure, but in that split second your eyes has gone dim, your brain has turned flat, your heart has stopped, your stomach has turned and all while someone only sees your smile.
